The SARS-CoV-2 virus causes COVID-19 disease, an infection that primarily affects the respiratory tract and can cause a wide spectrum of disease, from mild chest symptoms to severe pneumonia. Individuals with mild infection who don’t need hospitalization, individuals exposed to a patient with COVID-19, or who have another risk factor for exposure may be asked to be on home isolation or quarantine. Please check your temperature twice a day (for example at 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.) and enter the information and report any other symptoms using the unique number assigned to you by the health entity.
